Blockchain Tron 4.0 Launching Next Month

Justin Sun, CEO of the Tron Foundation, said the Tron 4.0 blockchain will launch next month. One feature that is featured is the privacy protocol feature so that transactions become "more disguised".
After a year of development, TRONZ (Smart Contract Privacy Protocol) will be launched as an integrated part of the Tron 4.0 blockchain on 7 July 2020.

The Smart Contract Privacy Protocol (SCPP) uses the zk-SNARKS technology, the cryptographic branch that facilitates transactions that are able to disguise the transaction information of its users on the basis of privacy requirements.

These features practically bring fundamental changes to the Tron blockchain, because users and developers have additional options, adjusting to market needs.
In addition to privacy features, there are 3 other major changes. First, the availability of the Dual-Layer TPOS Consensus Mechanism that combines the advantages of PBFT and DPoS, dramatically reduced the block confirmation period from 57 seconds to 3 seconds.

The Tron Foundation claims that the increased speed will be suitable for online trading and point-of-sale (PoS) needs.

Second, the new TICP Cross-Chain protocol as a foundation for cross-chain features (communication and transactions between different blockchain) in the Tron ecosystem. This is considered suitable for use at the level of financial institutions and companies.

Similar to most of the other 20 major crypto assets, TRX prices have soared in the past 3 months. Based on data from Coinmarketcap, TRX rose about 50 percent from US $ 0.007516 to US $ 0.015983.
